Sterling Silver Inlay Apache Crown Dancer Kachina Turquoise, red coral and Mother of Pearl necklace.
Artist Biography
Five pendants, each approximately 2 9/16” long x 1 3/8” across at its widest point. Apache Crown Dancer Kachina inlaid into a Mother of Pearl background is Turquoise, coral, jet and shell set into a saw-tooth bezel with twisted wire rope work. Accenting each dancer are 5 cabochons of Mediterranean Red coral (for a total of Thirty stones) on one side with a feather on the other. These are strung on a double tier silver beaded chain, beads are approximately 1/4” across. This necklace measures about 18″ long including the hook and loop and lays beautifully on the neck. Hallmarked RHB, hand crafted by native artist, Roland Hogan Begay. Not marked to be sterling, as most vintage sterling silver Native American items do not have the Sterling mark. Weight is 5.4 oz or 150 grams.
