August Böcher (1873-1961)
Born/lived: Berlin; Munich
Known: He painted portraits, genre scenes and landscapes in usually bright colors and with a slightly impressionistic brushwork.
Studied: studied at the ABK Berlin and attended the classes of Max Johann Bernhard Koner, Georg Ludwig Meyn and Maximilian Schäfer.
Exhibited: In 1910 and 1922 he exhibited his works at the Große Berliner Kunstausstellung and in 1935 at the Haus der Kunst in Munich.
